reporting live from LA
wow. It sure is hot! I guess the difference is, in vancouver you end up staying inside and working a lot because it's always raining. But in LA you end up staying inside and working a lot because it's just too hot outside.

♥ I finally posted up a quickie reel that Michael put together a while ago for us. You can view it here (about 6mb) It also has one of my favourite meomi songs by M. I always get it stuck in my head.



♥ We've been playing around in 3D more. Michael just did this 3D version of Stitchy Squirrel, our favourite DIY critter. Stitchy loves to sew and make and be crafty ^___^



♥ "Treeberry" is a drawing I did for the Treeson show happening next month with the adorable treeson and a host of fantastic artists.



♥ here is a blurry sneak preview of something to come :)



We're busy setting up events for the Octonauts launch in October. I'll post an update in a couple weeks with all the places we'll be stopping by. Our hard-working publisher guy has been building up a busy schedule for us.

also, that super short clip of the 3D animated guy coming out of the jack-in-the-box is totally amazing. i hope we can expect to see more of that stuff soon!

haha thanks that's actually "Ming" this character I've been sitting on for quite a while, then Michael decided to turn him into 3d ^___^ he's a funny cat who loves to cook (that's why he wears a bowl on his head) I'll have to show you his sidekick one day, michael made a 3d guy and it's so cute!!

i LOVE the movie and 3d squirrel. i am amazed how creative you two are, yet you yourself from your posts, still have time to do other things - watch tv, go out, bike ride, create just to create. inspiring!

hahah okay, I'm so dense, when I saw the Quicktime screenshot, I thought you actually embedded it (which, upon further consideration, makes no sense since LJ doesn't allow embedding of stuff like that. haha) so I kept trying to click the play button ^_^;; hahah anyhoo, my stupidity aside, that was a most adorable and enjoyable watch! and those caricatures of you and Michael are the best. hee hee
